Clinical Psychologist
I am a registered clinical psychologist with extensive experience supporting adults through complex emotional and psychological challenges. My work is grounded in evidence-based practice and informed by nearly two decades of clinical experience.
I place strong emphasis on building a thoughtful, collaborative working relationship. Therapy is not about quick fixes. It is about understanding what is happening beneath the surface and developing practical ways to move forward that feel realistic and sustainable for you. I work primarily with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, adjustment difficulties, and cancer-related distress, including fear of recurrence and the emotional impact of diagnosis and treatment. All appointments are currently offered via secure telehealth.
Why work with Michelle?
Clinical experience
I am a highly experienced clinical psychologist with specialist expertise in psycho-oncology, anxiety, and mood disorders. My work draws on established psychological frameworks and current research, with care tailored to the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Personalised and evidence-based care
Every person comes with a different history, set of stressors, and coping patterns. Therapy is shaped around your needs and goals, using evidencebased interventions that support meaningful and lasting change.
A practical, grounded approach
My focus is on helping you understand what is driving your distress and equipping you with skills and strategies that can be applied outside of sessions, not just talked about within them.
